We had to do some poetry and this is my Limerick Poem...
Serious Poem
Loads of civilians hearts shatter,
The police force and S.W.A.T team all scatter,
People protest, destroy and set things on fire,
But before they leave they hear gunfire,
So spread the word about Black Lives Matter.

Funny Poem
A man was so mad he looked reddish,
He stood so still he looked deadish,
He just got told weeks ago,
That he was from Mexico,
But his Mom said, “He was Swedish.”

Ka pai Richard. I like how you've chosen a serious subject but then also done a funny one too. Mexico and Sweden are a long way away from each other. That's a huge mix up! Have you recorded yourself performing the poems? I bet you could give a real emotional performance of the serious one!
